I don’t know how seriously this is ever taken but there is a trial website hosted on behalf of the Prime Minister. If you have a real concern which you suspect maybe supported by a considerable number of people then you may lodge your petition on this web site. Hopefully many people will support you and sign up to the e-petition. If there is enough support you will receive a letter response supposedly from the Prime Minister. This site hit the headline in February 2007 with a partition headlined “Scrap the planned vehicle tracking and road pricing policy” when it attracted huge support. Some 1,811,401 people signed up.
